Here's the project I am doing on:
Design Problem:My parents travel a lot in the family car. Often they would buy groceries on their way home. Sometimes they buy a lot of groceries. My mother complains that there are too many plastic bags to carry. Putting a trolley in the car might help solve the problem. This can be taken out to use from time to time when necessary.
Design Brief:To design and make a trolley that can be put in a car boot.
Design specifications:
• The Trolley must be foldable so that it will not take up much space in the car boot when not in use.
• The size of the trolley must not exceed the size of my father car boot. (3ft x 3ft)
• The Trolley must be able to withstand a weight of 5kg.
• The Trolley must be able to store things and not allow it to drop out when in use.
• The Trolley must be able to steer right and left to turn corners easily.
